Things to consider before adding a bedroom
Separate living and dining room spaces are required for all HomeRoom houses. These spaces should not be considered for additional bedrooms.
Applicable fire codes including a compliant, right-sized egress window opening (fire exit) must be followed. This is required in case of a fire in all 50 states.
The added bedroom must be AT LEAST 72 square feet

Retain general contractor or handyman with construction experience.- adding a single wall should cost roughly $1-$2K
Within the new wall, you will want to have a pre-hung bedroom door included.
Your contractor’s finished product and work area should be professional and clean. To make move-in ready, we suggest follow up by a professional cleaning service
If the new bedroom does not have a closet - purchase and install a wardrobe from IKEA or a similar. (we recommend >40” wide)
