Nurture generosity in your home by sharing a home-cooked meal. Show leadership and bring people closer together by organizing monthly themed dinner parties or friendsgivings. Create a productive household, with clean and inviting spaces, by coordinating house meetings or regular fridge cleanouts.

You must abide by our Community Policies, Rules, and Guidelines during your stay; this includes visitors, quiet hours, and more. 

It’s all these little things that transform your house into a home and create friendships that last long after your HomeRoom experience.

  • Leave spaces cleaner than you found them

  • Don’t leave dishes in the sink

  • Watch out for your waste, and take the trash on garbage day

  • Respect your roommates’ space and sleep schedules; keep it quiet at night

  • Be proactive and solve problems between you and your roomies should they occur

  • Connect with your roomies; be present and intentional or do something extra to show you care

Join Regular Community Events


Get in on the action at our regular community events. It’s a huge perk of being part of our community, and the perfect opportunity to learn, network, meet new pals and grab some food.

We send invites to these events via Slack and email so keep a look out and remember to RSVP.

Make the Most of Maid Visits


We schedule monthly maid visits for your home. The dates will be in the monthly newsletter sent via email. Don’t let the visit catch you by surprise!

Remember – it’s important to coordinate with your roommates to keep the house clean. Your maid will give you a score after every visit, posted to your Slack channel. If the score is too low, the maid will make a second visit and each roommate will be charged for additional visits.
