HomeRoom Curveball Guarantee allows our residents who are facing hardship to end their lease earlier with no further repercussions and find a resident who can occupy their rooms. The current lease will end as soon as the new resident moves into the room.

Should a personal emergency occur requiring you to terminate your lease earlier, HomeRoom will allow you to find a resident to occupy your room in lieu of termination fees. What that state is “in lieu of paying the full break-lease fee and the 60-day requirement, you’re able to find a new tenant to occupy your room”.

NOTE: This does not apply to current residents seeking to transfer rooms within the same property. New applicants must apply for the room.

What to include in the title and description of your ad:

• Specify that the room is for single occupancy ONLY (a private room with a shared bathroom in a shared house).

• Include the availability date

• Add the rent amount

• Specify that we do not allow pets
